Mid America Productions is ready to provide you with professionally designed, quality replication services. We can replicate your video onto numerous digital tape and disc formats.
DVD
The DVD format has become the format of choice for professionals and consumers alike. Options for your disc include everything from a simple "autoplay" disc to rich interactive menus, slideshows, custom chapters, loop discs and more. In addition, we provide custom labeling and have several in-stock choices for packaging of your discs.
Video CD & Web-ready formats
Videos can be compressed at varying sizes to be viewed on Video CD players, computers with CD-ROM drives, PowerPoint presentations, or on your website. We can compress video to and from virtually any standard format, including MPEG 1, 2, & 4, Windows Media Video, Quicktime, RealVideo, AVI and others. We even support the amazing new H-264 scalable codec used in the next generation of video, from High Definition to cell phones.
Digital Tape formats
We support a variety of digital tape formats including DVCAM, DVCPRO, Mini-DV and Digital-8.
Duplication (Analog copies)
Our in-house, professional dubbing facilities are capable of handling anywhere from 1 to 10,000 copies. No matter what kind of format you need, you can be confident that MAP will provide you with excellent, timely copies.
VHS
The VHS tapes that we use for dubbing are specially coated 4 times for excellent quality and durability. A service we offer along with our VHS copies is custom labeling and a choice of various styles of sleeves.
Super-VHS (S-VHS)
An enhanced version of VHS, S-VHS provides better clarity by splitting the video and audio signals (also known as component video) as they are written onto the tape. Although normal VHS players will not recognize this tape, it may be desirable for mastering or archiving analog video.
Betacam & Betacam SP
This professional, high-quality format is often used for television broadcasts.
Other tape formats
MAP has full support for many other analog tape formats, old and new. These include: 8mm & Hi-8mm, 3/4" & 3/4"SP and Betamax.
